What We Do
A Place to Rebuild, Grow, and Belong
At Pathfinder Clubhouse, we empower adults living with mental illness to reclaim their lives—through purpose-driven work, peer connection, and practical support.
Our evidence-based model creates a safe, structured environment where members participate in running the Clubhouse alongside staff. Every activity is an opportunity to build confidence, gain skills, and work toward independence.
Why Clubhouse?
1 in 4 adults will be diagnosed with a mental illness. Oregon ranks 49th in mental health outcomes and 50th in access. Many adults are left behind—without support, community, or a path forward.
The Clubhouse model is a globally recognized, evidence-based approach that offers what traditional systems often lack:
- Belonging: Members are valued participants—not patients or clients
- Work and Purpose: Daily structure helps people rebuild routines and self-worth
- Peer Support: Members uplift one another and form lasting connections
- Opportunities for Growth: From housing and education to employment and wellness
There are over 300 accredited Clubhouses worldwide. We’re proud to bring this model to the mid-Willamette Valley through our local team, generous supporters, and community partners.
Our Core Areas of Support
Members who participate in a Clubhouse program are twice as likely to gain employment as those in traditional mental health systems.
Employment
We help members return to work at their own pace—offering resume assistance, interview prep, job development, and transitional employment opportunities with trusted community partners.
Housing Support
Stable housing is essential to recovery. We guide members through the process of finding and maintaining safe, affordable housing—with support from staff and local partners.
Health & Wellness
Financial Stability
Through budgeting help, SSI/SSDI navigation, and job-readiness support, we assist members in building a more secure financial future—one step at a time.
Education
Whether returning to school or earning a GED, we help members pursue educational goals. We provide encouragement, planning help, and community connections to keep members moving forward.
Social Connection
Isolation is one of the biggest barriers to recovery. At Clubhouse, members form lasting friendships, celebrate milestones together, and enjoy regular social events that make life richer and more fun.
Transportation
We offer guidance and occasional assistance with local transportation to ensure members can access Clubhouse programming and essential services.
